Counselling

ABOUT ME

I am a qualified Counsellor and an Accredited Member of the BACP.

( British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy )

I have been working in therapeutic settings for many years. At present, I work in Private Practice from Oxford Circus and New Cross Gate.  I also work on-line or on the phone.

My aim is to provide a supportive, non-judgemental, confidential and safe environment for you to share your story and be heard. I see my counselling role as hopefully guiding you towards your own answers and uncovering your own truths.

After starting my working life as an actor, I began my counselling journey  30 years ago as a Samaritan volunteer and have spent 10 years working as a Counselling Supervisor at ChildLine. I managed METRO charity's LGBTQIA+ Counselling service for 11-25 year olds as well as supporting the volunteer counsellors and clients across the Over 25 service. I am a member of the Gendered Intelligence Network for Therapists and Counsellors. I also am a qualified teacher.

Some of the issues I have worked with have included:-

  • Depression

  • Abuse

  • Anxiety

  • Relationship Difficulties

  • Gender Identity

  • Sexual Orientation

  • Relationship Anarchy

  • Polyamory

  • Bereavement

  • Trauma

  • Challenging decisions

  • Loss, grief and life changes

  • Hearing voices

My central London practice is a convenient 5 minute walk from Oxford Circus. My South East London location is a 10 minute walk from New Cross Gate Station.
