ABOUT ME
I am a qualified Counsellor and an Accredited Member of the BACP*
and a qualified Clinical Counselling Supervisor, including Online and Telephone Work.
I have been working in therapeutic counselling settings for many years. At present, I work in Private Practice from Farringdon and New Cross Gate. I also work on-line or on the phone. My work is GSRD informed (Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity).
My aim is to provide a supportive, non-judgemental, confidential and safe environment for you to share your story and be heard. I see my counselling role as hopefully guiding you towards your own answers and uncovering your own truths.
After starting my working life as an actor, I began my counselling journey 30 years ago as a Samaritan volunteer and spent 10 years working as a Counselling Supervisor at ChildLine. I managed METRO charity's LGBTQ+ Counselling service for 11-25 year olds as well as supporting the volunteer counsellors and clients across the Over 25 service. I am a member of the Gendered Intelligence Network for Therapists and Counsellors. I am also a qualified teacher.
